Only the Blind can Truly See

I think I have never met a quieter, more introspective man. His name is Quinn, and although he can not see by conventional means, his sight is more astute then anyone who has looked at me thus far. I find his company compelling, complex and unavoidable. Mostly because I do not wish to avoid him.

Conversation comes natural and easily. In fact, he is the first actual friend I have made in the months of residing in Schendi. Charm has also taken a warm liking towards him and I find that whenever I enter a room, I hope that he will be there, selfish, really, since I don’t feel so.. lonely when he is around. I get the feeling he is lonely as well; despite the fact he had a very large family here.

I had even been so bold as to offer to be his eyes for the Schendi ship race, a race that we decided to watch from a distance stretch of sand. It seems neither of us are the sociable type. I also offered to be his eyes for his upcoming hunt for a shop. I very much enjoy spending time with him. He does not see the woman that most see upon introduction. He does not see the perception of evil glamor. He does not understand the mask under which I hide. I am to him, naught but a woman, like any other, with no mystic intrigue attached. He does not even realize what it is I do.

To him, I am completely ordinary, something I have never been before.
